I cannot remember a time in my life when there has not been a brush, pencil or pen in my hand.  My mother had me destined to become a nurse, but after several fierce battles I was finally allowed to attend The Cheltenham School of Art.      My whole life has revolved round making pictures in  one form or another, whether with local stage sets,  pictures to hang on the wall or using flowers.   I have passed on knowledge gained throughout my time to countless students at adult learning classes in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire, and now in my eighties I am still painting, still learning new techniques and still waiting to produce The MASTERPIECE.
